Scholarships available for press and delegates at Uppsala Health Summit 2019

We are pleased to announce that Uppsala Health Summit can offer a limited number of scholarships that cover travel, accommodation and Summit fees, for media and for delegates representing youth organisations anywhere in the world, and for delegates representing expertise, policy making or opinion building in low- and middle-income countries.

At Uppsala Health Summit we believe that we need to pool resources and energies to support the development and implementation of policies that support children's wellbeing and healthy development in all parts of the world. This require contributions from actors representing different parts of the society, including the participation of children themselves, politics, academia, industry, NGOs and healthcare.

To ensure a constructive and informed dialogue at Uppsala Health Summit 7 – 9 October, Uppsala Health Summit has granted scholarships covering costs for travel, accommodation and the Summit delegate fee for up to 25 delegates either representing youth organisations anywhere in the world or for delegates representing expertise, policy making or opinion building in low- and middle-income countries.

We are looking for delegates with a strong drive to make a difference for children in cities around world, and who are ready to make use of new ideas and connections when back home again", says Kerstin Stewart, Programme Coordinator at Uppsala Health Summit 2019.

Press travel grants are offered to allow media to build a solid knowledge on specific and complex health challenges.
